When you first get your irons fitted with us, you will notice an increase in distance and an improvement in your shot dispersion and ability to control direction.

 

For many players, this is a euphoric moment.  They can’t believe they’ve just picked up 15 meters, and it’s going straight!

 

Enjoy this, go out and play 5 or 6 rounds and impress your flight mates, and maybe take some money or beer off them.

 

You’ll need these 5 or 6 rounds to get used to your new distances. 

 

With your new found consistency, you’ll start to find that the gaps in between your clubs are not as even as you’d like.

 

Congratulations!  Most players never get to a point where they can identify that there is a 15 meter gap between their 7 and 8 iron, and only a 10 meter gap between their 7 and 7 iron.

This is when you should come in for Session 1 – Fine Tune Distance and Gapping. 

 

It is important that you have played at least 5 rounds with your new irons before you come in for this, because you really don’t want to waste this session. 

 

This is where we fine tune your distance, and make sure that the distance gap between your clubs is even.  We usually charge $125 base fee and $15 per club for this.  As a part of your Smashing Fits Guarantee, this is completely free for up to 8 clubs.  This is a bonus of $245!

 

Now that you’ve got your irons evenly gapped, you’ll might start to see that it’s easier for you to hit a fade than a draw, or to hit a draw than a fade.

This is when you would come in for Session 2 – Fine Tune Direction.

 

We want your ball where you want it to end up.  And this is best achieved by making sure your clubs are sending the ball in the right direction, which is a combination of launch angle and spin. 

 

Session 2 is usually charged at $60 base fee, and $15 per club.  We’re including this (up to 8 clubs) in your Smashing Fits Guarantee.  This means that you’re getting another bonus of $180!

 

Now that your clubs are completely consistent, you’ll find that there’s no more need to make any swing adjustments, and you’re getting better distance, direction and dispersion than ever.

 

No compromises in your swing means improved swing dynamics which might lead to even better distance, direction and dispersion.  Which means that you might find gaps and need minor corrections in each clubs distance and direction again.

After another few months for everything to settle in, you’ll want to come in for Session 3, where we fine tune both distance and direction, and anything else you might find needs adjusting.
